Other Things in Bucharest / Review Blog

Although Bucharest wasn't as crammed full of 'touristy things to do' like other cities that we have been to, there were still plenty of 'smaller' pretty sights to see. Here are our favourites:

This pretty street has exactly what it says on the tin. We visited very early in the morning to find it this quiet!

Pasajul Macca-Villacrosse

Another pretty street. It was prettier later in the day when all the lights were on, but that of course meant that it was a lot busier!

Biserica Manastirii Stavropoleos

This place really surprised us. It was advertised online as a top tourist attraction, suggesting that we spend at least an hour exploring here. In actual fact, we were made to feel extremely unwelcome on both occasions...

Romanian Athenaeum

If you are lucky, you may also be able to visit the inside of this place (either by attending a show, or by a tour outside of show times). When we went, it was unfortunately closed for most of the month!
