Having Coeliac Disease in Romania is really tough - generally it is not a well understood dietary requirement there. We were therefore very excited to find a completely gluten free bakery!
Having travelled to many countries and acknowledging that Romania is quite far behind in terms of catering to Coeliacs, this bakery did not have the range that we have experienced elsewhere. This was particularly a shame as we had read online that on certain days they produce more, and we purposely visited on one of these days. We arrived expecting items like croissants and pizza slices, and instead left with eclairs and cookies.
The eclairs were absolutely amazing, and we were very grateful for these, we were just hoping for something more savoury - a lesson to not believe everything you read online and contact places in advance!
Overall we still recommend this bakery - just go expecting to buy sweets!
