Having Coeliac Disease in Romania is really tough - generally it is not a well understood dietary requirement there. We were therefore very excited to find a restaurant with a gluten free menu!
As per usual process, we contacted them beforehand to check that their processes were safe for Coeliacs, and they confirmed that the gluten free pizzas were prepared in a separate area. We booked a table via email for two separate nights, and when we arrived we were surprised to find the restaurant so quiet.
Admittedly it wasn't the best gluten free pizza that we have ever had, and we were not offered dessert on either occasion, but when in a country which was so hard to find gluten free food, we were still super appreciative of having a safe place to eat.
Obviously as always, please use your own judgement - this is a restaurant which contains gluten and we completely appreciate that it's often the staff member that you deal with who makes the experience. On this occasion, we were satisfied customers.
