This is a walk of two halves. For the first half, the views are fantastic - lovely wide open space and even on a good weather Saturday we saw minimal people!
For the second half, the route became incredibly overgrown, and in some places boggy. We went at a time where we hadn't had much rain for a while, so can imagine this would be unpassable in normal conditions. Once out of the 'wild' the final part of the walk was along a busy A road, with no pavement...
All in all, the views up there were great, but we suggest maybe making it a there-and-back walk once you hit the top?

I enjoyed this walk, but there were wild ponies and sheep on route so it's a good job that I was kept on lead.
