Ady & Meg.
This is an incredibly mixed review...
We booked this restaurant following reading LOADS of amazing reviews from fellow Coeliacs. We checked the menu, and saw that although the gluten free vegetarian options were limited, there was something there for Ady. We booked online well in advance, and added to the booking that we were both coeliac and vegetarian.
The day before our reservation, they phoned us to say that they didn't have any options which were both gluten free and vegetarian. What we never got to the bottom of was if they had sold out of the two gluten free vegetarian options, or were the staff saying that there never were gluten free vegetarian options in the first place?
Given that we were already on holiday with little time to find an alternative and the fact that Ady can eat gluten, we opted to go anyway.
Meg enjoyed a gluten free cheeseburger and sweet potato fries, and the gluten free bun was the best she had ever had.
Ady on the other hand did not think much of his plant burger, and found the gluten-containing bun to be incredibly dry!
So in summary, if you are a coeliac meat-eater, this is an excellent place to eat. If you are a vegetarian on the other hand, there are better options out there.
Flossie.
I was not invited on this adventure ☹
