It is free to enter Ciutadella Park and it's worth the visit for the magnificent fountain alone. We probably should have spent a bit more time exploring the park, but we were in a rush to get to our next stop. Inside the park is Barcelona zoo, and this does have an entry fee. Admittedly it was not the best zoo that we have ever been to, but we spent a couple of hours wandering around seeing the animals. We can imagine this would be a great place to visit for young families.
