Ady & Meg.

Visiting this place was one of the highlights of our trip!

Sagrada Familia has been under construction since 1882 and apparently is due to be completed by 2026. When we arrived and saw the scaffolding on the outside, we were not expecting great things.

There is a large pond just across the road from the front of it which makes for some nice photos. When we visited we were one of the first to enter the temple, and it truly was a 'wow' moment. The stained glass windows were the most beautiful ones we'd seen, and they filled the room with colour.

You can also pay extra to climb one of the towers, to get views out over Barcelona and a closer look at the outside of the temple. Tower on the Passion facade. The tower was accessed via a lift up, and then we gradually walked the narrow spiral staircase down.

Visiting Sagrada Familia is a must do whilst in Barcelona!

Flossie.

I was not invited on this adventure ☹
