This is a great point-to-point hike (or there-and-back if you are feeling super energetic 😝). The route goes from Ramsgate Train Station to Margate Train Station, making it super easy to get a train back to your starting point.

We were staying right by Botany Bay, so we picked up the route from there and walked to Margate, then got on the train to Ramsgate, and then walked the rest of the route back to Botany Bay.

If the tide is out, you can do nearly the whole route on the beach if you want to - but it's a hell of a workout on the legs!. This is a great walk for seeing the white cliffs from below, and from Kingsgate Beach there is a stunning view of the castle up on the cliff.

Flossie.

I enjoyed this hike, as there were so many opportunities to play in the sea!
