Monterosso al Mare is the largest of the five villages and is the only one which has a sandy beach (although it was far too cold for that the day that we went! 🥶😂)
It also has the most amenities of all of the villages - we did not base ourselves here, but it would be a sturdy choice, especially if looking for more of a beach holiday.
