When travelling from La Spezia, the first of the five villages that you will reach is Riomaggiore. It is the second largest of the five villages and both the main street and the viewpoint are accessed via a tunnel from the train station. We also recommend taking the short walkway around the coast from the harbour - the waves were very strong on the day that we went, so prepare to get wet!
