This is a great tearoom! As per usual process I contacted them beforehand and they confirmed that, although there is gluten on the premises, they are well versed in ensuring the gluten free offerings are safe for Coeliacs.
They do not take bookings, and they only had the one table free when we arrived on a horrid weather Sunday in January. Despite being busy, service was super quick and staff were clearly confident when it came to knowing which items were gluten free.
I thoroughly enjoyed my scone AND lemon meringue pie and will absolutely return!
