Paris can be an expensive city to visit. Wherever we go we try to keep the cost of our bed for the night as cheap as possible, because we spend 99% of the holiday out exploring.
This one was probably our most basic, yet not the cheapest!
The major pro of this place was it's location - walking distance to The Lourve, and a nice quiet area. It was clean and a good place to store all of our stuff.
What we were a little surprised to discover however was that the toilet was across the public hallway from our room, and the shower was in a cupboard in the bedroom. Neither of these things were mentioned on the booking site, and we never did get to the bottom of whether the toilet was private or shared with other guests.
Don't get us wrong, we don't mind that our toilet wasn't directly attached to our room - it just would have been nice to know in advance, in order to pack PJs!
All in all, this was a perfectly acceptable stay if you are happy with basic, but you may want to splurge a little more if you want something slightly more comfortable.
