Ady & Meg.
We were so excited to find a completely gluten free pub in Kent! They had a decent amount of vegetarian options, and we particularly enjoyed our Sunday Roast, with HUGE yorkshire puddings!
This place is a prime example of how much the staff members impact your experience. We visited on two occasions, a Saturday and Sunday lunchtime. On the Saturday the place was fairly quiet (but certainly not dead!) and the younger waitress did not appear to show any interest in seeing to the tables - it took half an hour for us to even get a menu, and when she did eventually take our order, her greeting was "What are we having then?". Luckily she soon left, and order was restored by the more mature waitstaff.
In contrast, when we arrived on the Sunday, the place was heaving. A different younger waitress saw to us and she appeared to run an incredibly tight ship - very professional and orders taken within 10 minutes.
Overall, we really enjoyed our visits to this pub. But had we only visited on the Saturday, we fear that our review wouldn't have been so positive.
Flossie.
I enjoyed my visit here and luckily our tables meant we were out of the way of other dogs.
