We got free entry to these gardens with our entry to Boboli Gardens. Although the views over the city were nice, we are glad that we didn't pay for entry as there wasn't a lot there.
As an attempt to extend our visit, we went to their outside cafe hoping to have 'aperitivo' (a popular Italian Tradition of having a late afternoon alcoholic drink prior to dinner) but unfortunately found the staff to be fairly unhelpful when it came to identifying a gluten free beverage.
Perhaps these gardens would be nicer slightly later in the year, when the flowers have bloomed?
