Mister pizza has two branches and we visited the one right opposite the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, making it a very easy lunch stop.
Even though this is a gluten containing restaurant (with an seemingly small kitchen as far as we could see), the website makes the bold statement of 'zero contamination' due to their separate preparation area, oven and coloured plates - we felt very safe.
When our pizzas arrived, they were huge! And honestly did not look that different from the gluten containing ones (bar ours arrived with a gluten free flag). It was definitely the best pizza that we had in Florence!
We visited this lovely pizzaria on a Thursday lunchtime and we couldn't believe how busy it was - we definitely recommend booking a table!
Obviously as always, please use your own judgement - this is a restaurant which contains gluten and we completely appreciate that it's often the staff member that you deal with who makes the experience. On this occasion, we were very satisfied customers.
