Where to park

The route starts from this free medium-sized carpark:

However, it was busy the day that we went, so we parked here and made our way to the start of the walk:

Ady & Meg.

This is a great moderate walk with a good mix of views and woodland. The highlights are visits to Tyndale Monument, which you can pay £1 to climb if you are feeling energetic enough (the spiral staircase is also incredibly tight! ) and Wotton Hill. From both of these, you can see for miles on a clear day!

The Forest paths were incredibly muddy when we went, but hopefully these will dry up as the summer progresses. We also found parts of this walk to be pretty busy with dog walkers, so we would recommend going early if you would prefer a more peaceful walk!

Flossie.

I enjoyed this walk as there were plenty of sticks to play with.
