We did a quick stop off to see Nunney Castle as it was on our route whilst on a road trip.
This Castle is a 14th century ruined castle which has been partially damaged since 1645. It is surrounded by a deep moat and the banks can be a little slippery - please go careful! There aren't any staff on site so you can visit at any time of the day, but you'll have to rely on the information board / google if you are wanting more information about the castle.
For a freebie, this was a great find.
