This 14th century ruined castle in Wiltshire is a lesser known English Heritage site. It is a beautiful ruin sat on a small lake and we spent a couple hours exploring the castle, grotto and grounds.
We visited on the same day as our Stonehenge visit as there is only 40 minutes drive time between them.
This place is definitely worth a visit, especially on a warm sunny day.
