Halloween light trail 2024
Ady & Meg.
We attended the second night of their first year of doing lights - and we were really impressed! Our favourite view was of the lights over the water and the swans swimming made it just that little bit more magical.
For a Halloween activity this is not at all scary. The story to go with the trail is engaging and fun for all ages.
As well as the light trail, there was the opportunity to visit the reptiles, a restaurant and there were craft activities for children.
We hope that WWT Slimbridge will make this an annual thing and that the event will continue to grow.

Lantern trail 2025
Ady & Meg.
We returned a year on from the above, this time to see an animal-based lantern trail. This year the park had chosen to take a further step away from the usual Halloween themes, making this a great option if you are looking for a non-scary activity at Halloween.
This time the park was noticeably busier, although still not as overcrowded as other events in the area.
Although we preferred the light display the year before, the lanterns were impressive and the event remains excellent value for money.
