Ady & Meg.

There are few places on earth that are as emotional to visit as this place is.

Standing outside the entrance looking at the glass front of the building will not prepare you for the tiny rooms and darkness that Anne Frank and her family endured whilst hiding here.

Included in this tour you get an audio guide that has lots of information about the building, the state of the city during the invasion and Anne Frank herself.

You are not allowed to take photos within the museum. This is a good thing as it focuses you on the information provided and in honesty it wouldn't have felt right to take photos in there anyway.

A short walk from the museum is an Anne Frank monument that is also worth seeing. We left the museum feeling quite solemn so sat here for about 20 minutes to reflect and re-energise.

Flossie.

I wasn't invited on this adventure 😕
