This magnificent glacially formed lake is home to the 'Lonely Tree', which in honesty was the main reason for our visit. To find the tree, follow the path directly in front of the car park entrance and take a left when you reach the lake - you can't miss it (although hopefully it will be less flooded when you go!)
You could of course also walk all the way around the lake, or go for a dip - although it was far too cold for that the day we went!

I enjoyed paddling in the lake, but it was quite busy so we took our adventures elsewhere!
